Katie
Robinette has been called "ubiquitous"
and there could be no better word. Katie enjoys
all aspects of the music business and likes to keep
active in as many avenues as possible. This includes
actively singing Jazz, Blues & Mo-town as well
as 80s Pop/Rock Covers with 'Just Like Prom Night'
while participating in local commercial work.
Katie has been performing since the tender age of
4 and locally since her debut on the York Little
Theatre stage in 1998. In 1999 Katie joined local
pop group 'As1'. She danced and sang her way in
front off Universal and Virgin Record Execs and
performed in front of thousands for the famed Showtime
at The Apollo.
After a 5 year run 'As1' parted ways and Katie moved
to Los Angeles to attend the famed 'Musicians Institute'
on Hollywood Blvd. Here she learned new vocal techniques
and became a starving artist.. literally. She quickly
learned to appreciate the comforts of home and moved
back to York two years later.Katie graudated from
York College with her Bachelors in Music Industry
& Recording Technology and has enjoyed working
with many local musicians.
Until now she has kept her passion for writing,
singing and performing her original material at
bay.
